Before you start to think about actually selling off websites for profit (i.e. flipping them), you first actually need to acquire the websites that you're going to sell - right? In fact, this method often proves to be extremely hazardous for beginners as you'll need to be able to know exactly how to measure the value of a website and recognize its potential. If you don't know how to do that, you might end up finding that you've paid $500 for a website that is really only worth half that amount and has no potential to speak of. Needless to say, trying to sell a website such as that for a profit would be extremely difficult.
Deciding between these two options isn't easy, and really it is going to come down to a question of preference. Some people prefer to create their own websites from scratch, while others prefer to buy them. Whichever you opt for, the important thing to remember here is that both have their advantages and disadvantages, but in order to profit from them you're going to need to be very well acquainted with exactly what you need to do.
Since you already have at least a rough idea of how you can get a website to flip, you should now start to learn more about both these specific methods. Once you do, you'll find that you're at least able to decide between them, and after a little bit of experimentation and a lot of reading - you'll be able to really use these techniques to make a killing by flipping websites.
It is worth noting that if you truly want to get into website flipping on a full time basis, then it might be worthwhile to try to learn both of these methods. After all, you never know when one or the other might prove to have a great potential for profit!
